Help for Arunachala and his family

Posted: Saturday 4 July 2020

Birthday

Dear friends, family, yogis of Sai Mithra and other dear Facebook friends. For my 48th birthday July 7, I would like to draw your attention to the following:

Our friend and talented photographer Arunachala and his family have been badly affected by the global Corona crisis. They are forced to leave their home (in Tiruvannamalai, India); the place where Arunachala (named after the holy mountain) was born. Besides working as a photographer, he also works as a guide and his father makes those beautiful handcrafted statues of Indian gods on top of the holy mountain itself. Both are one with this mountain. Many people in the yoga school know Arunachala and his father thanks to our yoga meditation trips to Tiruvannamalai. After a few months of strict lockdown (still ongoing), there is no work. This hard-working family can't go anywhere.

This year I do not wish for gifts but would like to ask you to help the family. Through a donation -large or small-...whatever you can spare. They need €1000 to be able to stay in their house and even more to simply buy food. I fully understand that many people in the Netherlands too are having tough times through the past few months. See what you can spare: a small contribution together makes a nice amount.

Via this link you can make a donation for Arunacahala and his family.
