Yoga Nidra is a technique for deep relaxation on a physical, emotional and mental level.
The body enters a sleep state, while the mind remains awake at all times. This is yogic sleep. You enter a state of consciousness similar to meditation. It is a process in which your body and mind become increasingly still and a purification of unconsciously stored impressions takes place. It is said that 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3 or 4 hours of sleep. After practice, you feel clear, rested and more in touch with your physical body.
Ilona uses elements of I-Rest Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga and Pranayama, among others, in her classes. I-Rest Yoga Nidra is a special technique specially developed to resolve deep and/or complex trauma. It creates an experience of safety and security in which you can release limiting beliefs and thoughts. Several sessions of deep relaxation are guided during this intensive.
A minimum number of 4 participants applies to all Yoga Nidra classes.
